Miss Klose BBQ Rubs & Spices was born out of pure dissatisfaction with the existing seasoning selection. The founders travelled thousands of miles across the United States in pursuit of authentic barbecue and searched through supermarket shelves in both America and Finland, but simply could not find the perfect seasonings. Eventually, they decided to take matters into their own hands and develop uncompromising seasonings themselves — originally only for their own use and crafted entirely according to their own taste preferences.
Before ending up on store shelves, these seasoning blends were tested on thousands of Finnish food lovers at various BBQ events and festivals. When customers repeatedly started asking about the seasonings used at the events, the decision was made to make them available to home cooks who care about quality as well. Although pepper itself does not grow in Finland, Miss Klose products are fully Finnish work from recipe development to packaging, as proven by the Key Flag Symbol they have been awarded. These seasonings are designed to work not only on the grill, but also in the home kitchen every day of the year.
