These delivery terms are effective from May 8, 2020.
On this page, you will find the terms under which we deliver sauce and dry seasoning products displayed on our online store at www.soosikauppa.fi.
We ask that you carefully read these delivery terms before placing an order in our store. By ordering products, you accept these terms and commit to collecting them.
We reserve the right to change our delivery terms.
Prices and Products
The prices of products and delivery costs are stated including VAT. VAT will be charged according to the applicable tax rate (as of October 1, 2017, the VAT rate for food products is 14%). The VAT breakdown for products and delivery costs can be seen in the online store’s shopping cart and the order confirmation.
The prices in the online store are valid until further notice. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery charges. These delivery terms and prices apply only in Finland.
Placing an Order
Products are ordered in the online store by adding them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents through the online payment service. The contact information requested during the order process will only be used for order delivery or to resolve any issues that arise, unless otherwise specified. All customer information is handled confidentially. By placing an order in the online store, you are expected to have reviewed and agreed to the delivery terms currently in effect.
Order and Payment Confirmation
Once you have paid for the order, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
Check the contents of the order confirmation. Save the order confirmation in case you need to contact our customer service. Always verify that the contents of the package match the products listed in the order confirmation. You will also receive a receipt for your purchase with the shipment.
A notification of the approved order will be sent to the online store administrator, and the order will be processed. Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days of receipt, but we reserve the right to make exceptions.
NOTE! If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us immediately after placing the order via email at tommi@soosikauppa.fi. Please note that our customer service generally responds to messages in the evenings (from 5 PM to 9 PM).
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs include delivery and packaging fees. You can choose the most suitable delivery option for you from the available choices in the shopping cart or at checkout, where the exact shipping cost will be displayed.
Delivery Time
Shipments are typically delivered within 2-5 business days from the dispatch date, depending on the zone. You can check the delivery times at www.postnord.fi or www.posti.fi. The service does not guarantee a specific delivery time. For more details, see the Delivery section.
The stock levels displayed in the online store may differ from the actual quantities. If any of the purchased items are out of stock, we will contact you and offer the following alternatives:
- The order will be shipped without the missing items, and the value of the items that are not included will be refunded.
- A different product will be selected as a replacement for the missing item.
- We will wait for the product to arrive in stock and then ship the entire order.
- Or the entire order will be canceled, and the paid amount will be refunded.
We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or for any indirect damages resulting from delays. The online store will notify on its website of any changes to delivery times.
Gift Cards
The gift card is not personal. The balance loaded onto the gift card can be used in a single or multiple purchases. If the total purchase price exceeds the balance on the gift card, the customer must pay the difference between the gift card balance and the purchase price. A gift card ordered via email will be sent to the buyer’s email immediately after a successful payment transaction. The customer is responsible for providing the correct email address.
No additional fees are charged for using the gift card. Gift cards are activated at the time of purchase. The gift card is valid for 12 months from the activation date. The customer has no right to claim compensation from Soosikauppa Oy if they do not use the balance within the gift card’s validity period.
The gift card balance will not be refunded to the customer. Soosikauppa Oy is not responsible for lost gift cards and will not replace them with new ones. Soosikauppa Oy has the right to cancel the gift card if misuse is suspected. A gift card cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
Payment and Payment Methods
The payment intermediary and service provider is Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7), in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the recipient on your bank statement or credit card bill and will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In case of complaints, we kindly ask you to first contact the product supplier.

Return Policy
All products purchased from the online store have a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with Finnish consumer protection law. The right to exchange and return applies only to unused and resalable products in their original packaging. As this is a food product, we cannot accept opened packages. The return period begins from the receipt of the goods.
To exercise your right of return, you must clearly notify us of your decision to cancel the contract (preferably via email).
To meet the return deadline, it is sufficient to send your notification of using the right of return before the return period expires.
Products must be returned to our warehouse in Tampere. Please contact us by phone or email before returning the items, so we can arrange how to send the return package. The customer will always be charged for the return shipping costs.
Please include the following information with your return:
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- A copy of the shipping list/receipt.
- Your bank account number in IBAN format and the BIC code.
- A return form or a free-form notice of contract cancellation.
We do not accept returns more than 14 days after the receipt of the goods.
Unclaimed Package
Failure to claim a package is not the same as a return or cancellation. For an unclaimed package, from which no separate cancellation notice has been provided, we will charge the delivery costs.
Complaints / Issues
Damaged Shipment
Inspect the shipment immediately upon receipt. If you notice any external signs of damage to the package, inform the customer service representative at the pickup point (PostNord/Posti service point). The representative will file a damage report, and the shipment should not be claimed. If you claim the shipment, please check the condition of the products when opening the package. If you discover that the products are damaged during transit, notify us immediately via message at 050 516 7885 or by email at tommi@soosikauppa.fi. We would appreciate it if you could include a photo in your report, if possible.
Defective Product
If we have delivered the wrong or defective product, please notify us immediately at tommi@soosikauppa.fi or by phone at 050 516 7885 (weekdays from 5 PM to 9 PM). The notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product.
